Seven gemmy Calcite crystals from the famous Dal'negorsk area comprise this excellent piece. The clear, modified scalenohedral Calcites have superb luster and a vivid orange fluorescence, and the piece can be displayed from a number of angles. The luster on these is just that good - better than almost any other calcites. The largest crystal measures 3.6 cm. An aesthetic and sharp small cab, it probably dates to the early-mid 1990s. With these mines not producing hardly anything anymore, if at all, a classic specimen such as this would be available today only in recycled collections.
