A huge, spear-like octahedron of splendent, dark red cuprite, measuring 3.4 cm in length, is jauntily perched on smaller cuprite crystals. Although (only) the back side is contacted, this is still a large and imposing cuprite crystal that is complete and sharp on 3 sides. It shows very dramatically, and in fact the large crystal almsot looks as if it curves back from the pedestal, gracefully with a slight bend. In person, extremely impressive for the price. A small amount of native silver is present, in shallow crevasses here.
