This is a very important full thumbnail cuprite crystal with excellent crystal habit and total gem transparency when backlit. Gem quality cuprites were found in a handful of pockets in this difficult-to-access mine, mostly in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Nothing has come out recently, and in fact modern collecting is forbidden. For every thousand Congo or Namibia cuprites, there are few of these - and they are much more important for a systematic or competitive thumbnail collection, seldom seen for sale now.
