An extremely hard-to-obtain specimen of wulfenite crystals from the 1970's mining in Congo! These large, sharp, chunky crystals measure up to 1.5 cm across. There is just a bit of edge wear here and there, which can be forgiven in a specimen of this rarity and is trivial in context. Seldom do you see ANYTHING from this small prospect of over 30 years back, but I cannot say as I have seen any good crystals so nicely standing on matrix, as this one. 3.8 x 2.2 x 1.6 cm
