Here is an equally fine specimen from the other great Mexican amethyst locality - Guerrero. This one is classic for the locality in every way, with the color appearing as a scarlet blush inside the gemmy crystals, the largest one surrounded and accented by smaller ones. The terminations are all complete save one. A remarkable amethyst specimen for ANY locality!
