A NEW find at the prolific and always interesting Daye Mine - though very few specimens have appeared. Here is a razor-sharp and gemmy amethyst scepterd crystal, about 3 cm in height and across the termination, isolated on a bed of quartz crystals. Some of the quartz crystals have a slight purple blush; some of them are arranged in interesting bursts from a central point, as well.
