SOLD
A superb, bowtie-like ball of very glassy and gemmy, rose-brown to tan, elongated orthorhombic crystals of olmiite from the new, Fall 2008 find at the N'Chwaning II Mine of South Africa. The ball rests on a hidden shard of matrix. This is a stellar example from this find. Olmiite was formerly known as poldervaartite, prior to recent extensive testing. Poldervaartite has been found to be extremely rare.
