Urucum mine (Tim mine; Corrego do Urucum pegmatite), Galileia, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Cabinet, 15.0 x 13.0 x 7.0 cm
A gorgeous, solid CABINET mass of lustrous golden muscovite crystals from Brazil. Very minor bruising to a few muscovite blades is barely noticeable. Now, I know we often dismiss muscovite as a "rock" but this one is a real specimen, worthy of being in any decent collection, because of the color and sharp crystal form so readily evident. 15.0 x 13.0 x 7.0 cm
