I would not go so far as to call this gemmy crystal of tourmaline a blue-cap, but it does have a very distinctive area of blue at its termination; very unusual for a "non blue-cap" locality and yet classic for old material from this mine circa 1950s-1960s. The rest of the crystal has a bright pink core inside a grassy green exterior; all gemmy. Weighs 18 grams.
