- Beryl (Var: Aquamarine)
- Small Cabinet, 6.4 x 4.1 x 3.4 cm
- Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan
A 5 cm, translucent-to-transparent aquamarine crystal rises elegantly from a matrix of muscovite and cleavelandite. The crystal has a two-tiered termination that is COMPLETE; one of these tiers has naturally healed after fracturing in the pocket. Complete all around - a really well-balanced specimen with just the right amount of matrix.
