The Sherman mine produced some of the most impressive golden Baryte specimens from Colorado, and when they're good, they're amazing. This mine is long closed and hasn't produced specimens for nearly 20 years, and these pieces are highly prized by Colorado collectors. This specimen hosts a few fine, sharp, lustrous, tabular golden color Baryte crystals on Quartz matrix. A great Colorado classic from approximately 30 years ago. From the k-22 Bypass. Ex.
