Spectacular, this combination piece is from old 1990s finds in Hunan, China. With sharp Baryte crystals to 1.4 cm on edges interspersed along a slender and lustrous, 9.5 cm Stibnite blade, it is a unique and historic find. It has amazing contrasts between gemmy and smooth, metallic and striated, and so the aesthetics of this cabinet-sized specimen really 'pop'. You could hardly have designed and constructed a more elegant and attractive specimen if you had been given the components and were told to 'have at it'. The piece is nearly perfect, miraculously (only a few trivial dings on a few baryte if you look closely). It is displayable 360 degrees and phenomenally bright and aesthetic.
