These are arguably the finest golden Baryte crystals from Colorado. The best of these specimens show a very rich golden color and excellent gem quality crystals. This piece is comprised of dozens of gemmy, sharp, lustrous, rich golden color Barytes sitting on a bed of tan colored Siderite "discs." This mine is long defunct and will never produce these amazing Barytes ever again. This specimen came to Richard Kosnar from noted Colorado collector, George Robertson, and was mined in 1959. Ex.
