One of the most delightful finds of the past year has been these glassy, gemmy Barytes from Peru. This is an UNUSUALLY large and rich one - most are miniatures, and this is a full-sized cabinet specimen! It is just covered with fine crystals, to 2 cm, flashing all over! There is a bit of bruising here and there you can see if you really look for it, but it is very minor in the context of the size and richness of this specimen 12.3 x 8.8 x 8.8 cm
