This is a huge specimen for what it is. You sometimes see little pockets of this pretty mineral, but this pocket measures 13 cm in length. It is lined with calcite that is both on and included by robin's-egg blue aurichalcite. Matrix is the typical rust-colored limonite, which makes for a pretty contrast here. From mining in the 1970s.
