A stunning and bright, open green color signifies that this fluorite is from a large pocket of early 2021, at the famous Yaogangxian Mine of China. It has a very high level of translucency and transparency, which makes it stand out from others. The calcite at the bottom also somewhat in-grows into the fluorite — or rather the fluorite formed over an existing bed of calcite. The effect is beautiful, like a calcite garden within. The luster is good, but it is really all about the color… the strongest pastel green you can ask for, although not tree-green in color as are most others.
