This is a highly unusual combination piece with large, sharp crystals of dioptase to 2.5 cm (WOW!) set up in a cluster upon a mound of rolling chrysocolla, that itself covers an underlying matrix of quartz crystals. Any one of the unusual features of the piece would not be enough to elevate it in my opinion but together the unusual assemblage, and unusual contrast of blue on green, combined with the three-dimensionality of the piece itself, makes it very special compared to others from this find. The horizontal crystal is 2.5 cm long, doubly terminated, and pristine. It is amazing. The vertical crystal to one side of the largest crystal is 1.5 cm tall, also doubly-terminated, but does admittedly have a chip out of the top termination on one side, and this is not visible from a distance but is clearly visible on close examination (hence a reduction in value, despite that it looks wonderful on a shelf). We think this came out circa 2017-2018.
