This crystal has a gorgeous color saturation and sparkle to it, and is a very impactful example of crystallized gem tsavorite, which many consider to be the rarest of the gem-valued garnet species. It is a large, complete crystal from the front - although the left side is damaged, behind the face you see as a viewer (and this does detract from value, but not from display). From the front view, there is a perfect angle where it looks fully intact, and even has a minor bit of attachment to the graphite matrix for contrast. It is not competitive because of the damage to one side, in a Tucson sense of competition for exhibit awards, but it looks amazing and holds a place well when on a shelf to look at.
