This is a fine fluorite because of the complexly stacked form, and the subtle contrasts and symmetries of the stepped faces interacting with the oriented color layers on many edges, to create many subtleties of color as you look at it and move it in the light. The large fluorite cluster, which is absolutely pristine, is perched atop a cluster of sparkling, clear quartzes. There are a few internal fractures, but the surface is undamaged and the interior is otherwise completely gem-transparent. The large crystal atop is 10.0 x 7.0 x 4.5 cm, and sits there on a natural pedestal of quartz! This is a highly unusual aesthetic, and an old style from this famous mine, circa late 1990s or early 2000s. It is from an old and secret personal fluorite collection assembled by a dealer, in the late 1990s through about 2008 during travels there.
