A fabulous miniature of emerald green fluorite from the Queen of Green pocket at the Diana Maria mine. This specimen is completely covered in gemmy green fluorite (up to 2 cm), with the largest crystals situated on top, just off center, making for a wonderfully aesthetic specimen overall. There is minimal damage, only around the outer edges and rear of the specimen where it was extracted and trimmed, which doesn’t detract from the display. The Queen of Green pocket is regarded as one of the finest discoveries from the quarry in modern times, producing specimens with rich, green color, associations of galena and/or aragonite, and exhibit bright purple daylight fluorescence. The specimens from the Rogerley quarry, which includes both the Rogerley mine and the newer specimen mining operations at Diana Maria mine, are UK classics, unlike any others found around the world. One of the finer miniatures in the pocket.
