One of the Holy Grails of collecting for most of us, is to own a gem windowpane wulfenite from the 1970s finds in Mexico, still unequaled in the world today. This fantastic piece is as close to a jewel as a Wulfenite miniature can get, and is from one of the best pockets of this material ever found with the fines and most glassy transparent window panes. This gorgeous piece consists of over two dozen of these bright yellow-orange window panes up to 1.2 cm across grouped in an open cluster. Tiny deep-orange mimetite balls provide contrast. It is a killer miniature that leaps out from any display. Wayne Thompson and Susie Davis helped bring this pocket to market back in 1973. Few enough smaller specimens were preserved, during the difficult recovery and processing as they were initially collected by a Mexican dealer before the Americans were tipped onto this and collected later pockets in 1976 and 1979 more professionally. Ex Gary Weaver collection. NOTE: due to fragility, this cannot be shipped, we will not risk it. However, we can usually arrange for hand delivery with a little patience.
