While the Sweet Home mine is known for its world-famous rhodochrosites, that is not the only mineral species found there. Shown here is a sharp and undamaged hubnerite blade, 2.1 cm in length, with quartz. A fine thumbnail from the thumbnail collection of Martin C. Jensen (b. 1959) of Reno, Nevada, USA. He is not only a mineral collector, but an SEM specialist at the Mackay School of Mines, and has contributed multiple studies on localities in the western United States.
