Superb, transparent, zoned Fluorite cluster from the Yaogangxian Mine, China - old finds from the 1990s. This stunning Fluorite group is composed of two major crystals and seven smaller ones all of which are completely transparent throughout! They start with a pale blue, water-clear interior and then it starts to get interesting as the corners are highlighted by striking rich purple "zoned corners" areas that resemble purple ink and this color extends subtly across the faces. This rich purple zone is then succeeded by 2 to 3mm pale blue rim on all of the crystals. This color distribution and internal "texture" results in a sublime overall effect in this gem Fluorite group! Each cube face is sharp and so are the edges. The Fluorite group is decorated with several white Calcite crystals for added aesthetics and sits atop several Arsenopyrite crystals that constitute the base on the underside. Ex.
