This stunning little miniature of a fluorite is from the Yaogangxian Mine, China, which is one of the top contemporary localities for Fluorite. The crystal cube is so transparent and has so much going on inside it's like looking into a busy aquarium. This lustrous Fluorite has sharp, alternating light blue-purple and dark purple zoning with a central, billowing, lavender colored core. The marked dark purple zone has tremendous visual impact. There is some minor Pyrite on the backside along with a smattering of white Calcite as tiny crystals and as small patches on the Fluorite. There is some very trivial chattering along the edges and contacting around the periphery up close, but you would not see that at first. A sharp Fluorite mini from Yaogangxian!
