A significant USA hemimorphite! Growing up to 1.7 cm long, hundreds of Hemimorphite crystals grow radially out from the matrix knob. On the surface, they form fan like clusters with an almost cogwheel appearance due to the terminations of the Hemimorphites. A well-crystallized specimen of a highly sought-after mineral from the famous Franklin District. This specimen could very well date back to the 19th Century, when Hemimorphite was more commonly referred to as Calamine.
