An unusual piece, amidst many hemimorphites that all look sort of the same in styles! On a thin crust of ocherous limonite are fat fan-shaped clusters, some of which have coalesced into a big pinwheel. The crystals are glassy and translucent, colorless to white, with a faint red hematite speckle atop. Individual fan-shaped clusters reach 3 cm across. The fan-shaped clusters are quite different from the elegant single crystals we normally see from here, and of a large size for this habit as well. Complete all around!
