These unusual sharp barite replacements by malachite came out many years ago in the late 1990s. I think I got these from the late dealer Michel Jouty, if I recall rightly. This is a superb matrix thumbnail of grass green malachite replacing a cluster of barite crystals, to 1.8 cm in length. The specimen is definitely of competition quality for aesthetics and rarity! Never seen the like from anywhere else, not in such sharpness.
