Flor de Pena Mine, Lampazos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico (TYPE LOCALITY)
Miniature, 4.2 x 3.5 x 1.8 cm
From the type locality for legrandite, Flor de Pena, this matrix specimen features many lustrous and translucent, bright lemon yellow crystals, to 5 mm in length. Rare and seldom seen for sale, these are distinct from their larger and more common cousins from the Ojuela mine in Durango. I have had only a few of these over the years, for sale.
