This specimen features a stunning, lemon yellow crystal of 3 cm in length (over an inch) with a broad and unusual wide termination. Most legrandite from this original find (mid 1980s) at Ojuela had diverging sprays and a touch of brown to the color. This is the much more rare style of textbook crystal shape, with better luster and glassier look to the surface, than most. It is accented at the top by a little flowerlike cluster of smaller legrandite! This is a well balanced and visually appealing miniature with the lemon yellow color set off against matrix.
