Here we have one of the most colorful miniatures, and also one very gemmy and translucent! This is a gorgeous specimen that is complete all around and exhibits a very strange contrast within the same crystal where one side is really etched; and the other facing side is incredibly well terminated with basal planes, even with extra bevelled faces you do not normally see on these. The color, glassiness, and gemminess here are top quality for the find, and its a very beautiful topaz at a fair price, I think. It is just a question of how to display it, showing one side or the other, or both at the same time!
