Burmese Topaz crystals are world famous for their characteristic complex terminations, gemminess, and style. This large, light champagne colored, incredibly glassy crystal has well defined faces and razor-sharp edges and is simply gorgeous. The clarity and transparency of this Topaz is very good with only a veiled and included area in a limited area of the center (which has interesting patterns that look like bubbles outlining a partial topaz phantom within, as a bonus). It looks impressive on display and reflects light wonderfully from steeep termination faces. The termination is complex, interesting and perfect. Amazingly, you can read right through this crystal - through nearly 2 inches of gem Topaz! This is a great Topaz specimen from the Larson Burma collection of Burmese specimens built between the late 1980s and 2008. That was surely the finest collection of its kind built in the day these were coming out. This commanding crystal has a mass of 358 grams.
