This is a gorgeous specimen with top gemminess, color, and luster. It is, unusually, etched only minimially and that on the side faces proper. It is one of the most equant of the new topaz lot. The lovely drapery of lepidolite at the base provides a nifty contrast as well (though it could also be removed if desired). Note the included small gem-green tourmaline in the upper-left. A few very minor dings in the upper-right (and hence a lower price), but they are not too bad in context and this is otherwise complete. incredible gemminess and color intensity! A piece like this from the 1960s finds would be easily over $10,000.
