Although we commonly see malachite-coated cuprite from this old mine, from finds of the 1960s or 1970s, I have not before seen such a cluster of malachite on CUBIC cuprites from this locality. It is a complete floater, sharp all around, and showig clearly the more rare cubic cuprite habit. Most crystals from this locality are clearly complex, and even then not so sharp as this. This also happens to be a superb thumbnail specimen.
