This specimen is, to me, the best Nager aqua I have had under 10k, because it has striking aesthetics, high luster, and a gemmines sand transparency that are very rare in Nagar aquamarines. In fact, my first thought was that it WAs I nfact a Shigar Vallye piece but the muscovite rosettes are a dead lock on nagar material. It is unrepaired. It is complete all around save for a bit of natural contact on the BACK of the downwards termination. It is thus pristine and completely crystallized all around. The crystal is also amazing to me in that it is symmetrically mounted on the natural pedestal of matrix in jus tthe right balance like a teeter-totter. I mean, what are the odds?! Any bit to either side and it would look lopsided. Note that the termination ends are also sharp and lustrous, and glassy (ALL OF THE SHOTS FAIL TO SHOW THE TRUE BRILLIANT GLASSY luster AS IT IS In REAL LIFE). On the backside are a few darker aqua crystals, above the muscovite matrix and clinging to the back of the major crystal. I think this could obviously be a much more expensive specimen, and it simply depended on me getting it at the right price. I was shocked, frankly, that I COULD buy it for under 10. I would have paid 10 for it myself if I had to, just to have such a great piece for the size and price range...
