Fluorite, Sphalerite
Elmwood mine, Carthage, Central Tennessee Ba-F-Pb-Zn District, Smith Co., Tennessee, USA
Miniature, 3.9 x 3.2 x 2.9 cm
This specimen is from an old stash, from an unusual pocket where the sphalerite had a stunningly colorful iridescence to it. That chink you see on the left side of the fluorite is a pocket contact that naturally healed while still in the pocket; little faces have formed on it - so it is not damage.
