Yes, this is a natural specimen of chrysocolla. This was a find not too long back at the copper-rich Star of the Congo Mine, of chrysocolla that is so strange and pretty you can hardly believe it is real. The botryoidal surface looks like molten plastic, and is an intense, deep robin's-egg blue. This striking, sculptural cabinet specimen is covered with beautiful chrysocolla.
