Beryl (Var: Aquamarine), Schorl
Erongo Mountain, Usakos and Omaruru Districts, Erongo Region, Namibia
Miniature, 4.9 x 2.6 x 2.3 cm
A strane, unusual, but very fine Erongo aquamarine crystal. This sharp, very glassy, hexagonal crystal is a pastel-blue, almost a goshenite beryl, on the outside, but the core of the crystal is a very intense blue. The pristine crystal is complete-all-around. The sidecar aquamarines and the tiny schorls embedded in the termination are nice accents. Ex. Charlie Key dealer stock.
