Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China
Small Cabinet, 7.7 x 5.6 x 4.5 cm
Here is a gorgeous Baryte specimen that is MOST unusual and evidently quite rare on the market, since we have not seen any others like it even though it is recent material. At any rate, what you have is two GEM crystals, sharp as razors, golden and transparent, with banded zoning - on an unidentified matrix of a pleasing sparkly light-orange hue. This specimen compares quite well to a FINE Meikle Mine Baryte. Could be very easily trimmed into a large miniature, as you can see. 7.7 x 5.6 x 4.5 cm
