Intensely orange crystals to 1.7 cm spray out form all directions along the top of a ridge of fluorite, which they encrust. This is one of the more dramatic pieces in the lot to my eye for the isolation and size of the crystals and the fact that it is NOT a ball shaped aggregate, like most others found, but rather formed on top of a fluorite crystal cluster. The front side (left image) is pristine, although the back is not: nevertheless, it displays well enough from either side, visually. Still, I find the side I call the front, which also has the best condition, to be more appealing because of the contrast to the fluorite underneath.
