A sharp, sparkling plate of abundant, intense grape jelly colored fluorite crystals showing phenomenally detailed faces, like geodesic domes all over the surface! At least 100 crystals, to 1 cm, adorn the surface. The fluorite are in stark contrast to milky white quartz points shooting out in all dimensions and to snow white crystals of laumontite - something we have simply not seen before from Chinese locations. Oddly enough, it may occur but gets waterblasted off during most cleaning techniques there, is my assumption. Having been down inside this mine during blasting and collecting, I can say this probably came from several kilometers within, and at least a kilometer depth, where occasional pockets of fluorite and quartz appear really randomly in the nearly barren host rock which is mined for parts per million tungsten and other ores. Difficult collecting, indeed!
