- Topaz with Cleavelandite "tiara"
- Miniature, 4.6 x 4.2 x 2.6 cm
- Dassu, Skardu Dist, Baltistan, Pakistan
Partially wreathed by snow-white blades of cleavelandite that accentuate the gemminess and sharpness of the termination here, this is a single, glassy and gemmy, champagne-colored topaz crystal measuring 4.4 cm in length. The doubly-terminated crystal is definitely elegant and a standout compared to a crowd of single crystals from this productive location. It is just "different," whereas most are so similar. The tiara of white crystals at the top makes all the difference!
