This specimen is a starburst-like cluster of "spokes" of stalactite-like quartz shooting out of a common core, with one large spoke shooting straight up. Very aesthetic compared to most such specimens from this classic quartz locale in the high Atlas Mountains! That main stalk, 6 cm tall, is decorated with small inclusions of reddish hematite for color. We believe the piece is repaired and stabilized around the repair, in the middle of the stalactite.
