I was shocked to find this amber colored botryoidal Fluorite from India! I've seen very few of the style with such a quality like it on the white matrix in 30 plus years of looking at Indian specimens. This piece consists of several dozen, gorgeous, translucent, golden amber botryoids of Fluorite. The pristine Fluorite spheres are mounded upon one another and set on a contrasting white matrix that shows around the periphery and it positively glows when backlit. The Fluorite spheres measure anywhere from a few millimeters to 2.5 cm across. Yellow spheres on Amethyst are common and there are even purple spheres, but none as dramatic as this lovely golden amber one!
