This is spectacular Goboboseb Amethyst and Quartz crystal with wonderful complexity! This sharply formed, four and a half inch crystal has a stacked series of ethereal, richly colored Amethystine phantoms that dominate much of the crystal that is subsequently capped by a medium Smoky Quartz termination. The smoky termination immediately transitions into a series of phantoms demarcated by stacked, parallel inclusions, shaped almost like complete crystals, all the way through to the bottom. The phantoms are enhanced even more halfway through the crystal with much darker amethystine phantoms with diffuse boundaries present through to the base of the crystal. This all easily viewed from the side along four of the six prism faces. The other two prism faces are interesting in and of themselves as an elliptical area near the bottom of these two faces shows a whitish tan area of very fine drusy Quartz that was incorporated during growth. The crystal has well-developed faces and sharp edges with only a tiny area of what appears to be an included fragment of the opposing pocket wall that must have been just slightly incorporated into it during growth. This is an excellent and intricately beautiful crystal for this material.
