Dramatic, emerald green fluorites, nicely isolated due to a chalk white aragonite coating, are aesthetically arranged on this self-standing small cabinet from the Queen of Green pocket at the Diana Maria mine. The largest crystal, at approximately 2 cm, is situated on the far left of the specimen, with size gradually decreasing toward the right side. The aragonite coating is a bright matte white color, with interesting surface textures, which adds a wonderful contrast of both color and form to the fluorite. Other than damage along the perimeter from trimming, there are some minute dings here and there on a couple of the fluorite crystals, none of which detract from the aesthetics of the specimen. Like all fluorite from the Rogerley quarry, the fluorite has excellent purple daylight fluorescence. A stunning example from the pocket, which produced some of the finest specimens recovered from the quarry in the modern era. A modern classic, from this unique 2017 discovery!
