At 6.89oz (214.4g), this elongated nugget from the Central Goldfields of Australia is a prime example of the quality of gold found in the region. While just spectulation, there's a possibility the long line, forming a sort of spine down the length of the nugget, could have previously been a single, long crystal that has been tumbled and worn down over millennia of earth movement.
