This is a gorgeous crystallized gold specimen of the highest luster, sharpest crystals, and best form that ever came out of Round Mountain, in the early 2000s. It has a good sculptural shape in that it is a cluster and yet each crystal has well-defined edges and isolation from the others. This clearly stands out in any gold suite, as a superior specimen for the aesthetics, particularly for this locality. Good gold has not come out of here in over a decade, in such quality. We do not expect more. This is one of the few Nevada golds to rival California crystallization, and yet it is distinct and subtly different.
