Brilliant, neon green spheres of Cuprian Adamite on a light background make for really showy specimens when we see this rare combination from Greece's older finds. Almost uniform 1.5 mm, bright green, translucent, jelly-like spheres of Cuprian Smithsonite bejewel both a light colored matrix and translucent, white Calcite on this sublime piece. The Adamites are dispersed well and are nicely isolated both on the matrix and within the enclosing Calcite. It's a gorgeous piece that sits well on its own for display. These Greek Adamites are among the prettiest of species for sheer color! This is rare in such richness and particularly nice because of the contrast to the white Calcite underneath. Ex. R. D. Mushlitz collection with label. From 1990s or older finds, and perhaps the old finds of the early 1900s, although no way to prove it.
