Small Cabinet, 7.5 x 6.8 x 6.2 cm

SOLD

An old piece from this famous silver mine, that occasionally gives us rhodochrosite in unusual forms as well! Nestled safely in a vug of massive ore are numerous crystals of glassy and gemmy, cherry red rhodochrosites to 1.5 cm in length. The unusual elongated gem rhodochrosite crystals are unique to this mine, and seldom seen for sale in specimens of this richness. The pocket is glassy and sparkling, and safely protected for us...a HIGHLY rare occurrence. The rhodos are joined by a few lustrous and translucent, colorless fluorite crystals to 1.5 cm across. Truly, a beautiful and unusual combination specimen!
