Sharp and quite lustrous, the rich pink Fluorapophyllite crystals here simply sparkle. The matrix is a phonolite - highly unusual deposit. The pink color for Fluorapophyllite is quite rare, the pearly to vitreous luster is extraordinary, and the largest crystal is about 9 mm across. A superb cabinet specimen, in great condition, this seems a rare zeolite occurrence from Germany. We have not seen others. Between Kay's label and the previous label from Herb Obodda, you have two of the most expert folks on Germany I know, who testify to the locale.
